Controller and contact
The site is operated by B&B Bibò, with Mirna and Giosuè as hospitality contacts in Ravenna (RA), Italy. For privacy requests call or message +39 338 691 1065. The controller's legal name and postal address are awaiting confirmation from the property.
Data, purposes and legal grounds
- Website delivery and security: the hosting provider may process IP address, time, requested URL and browser information to serve pages, protect the service and diagnose faults. Legal ground: legitimate interest in operating a secure site (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Stay enquiries: your name, contact details, room, dates, number of guests and message are used to answer your request and prepare a booking if you want one. Legal ground: steps at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). The form does not submit or store these fields on the website: your browser prepares a WhatsApp message, sent only if you send it.
- Optional map: OpenStreetMap remains blocked unless you allow it. If loaded, your browser sends technical data, including your IP address, to OpenStreetMap Foundation. Legal ground: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
- Confirmed bookings: data subsequently required for hospitality registration and tax duties are processed under applicable legal obligations; those processes do not take place on this website.
We do not use advertising profiling or visitor-tracking analytics. Fonts are served from this domain, with no visit-time request to Google Fonts.
Providers and external services
The site is hosted by Vercel. Content may be managed in Sanity, with some published images delivered by its CDN. The server may import room availability from iCal calendars without displaying guest details.
If you send an enquiry through WhatsApp, WhatsApp/Meta handles that communication under its own terms. The website does not automatically transmit the form fields to WhatsApp: you decide whether to send the message. If you load the map, see OpenStreetMap Foundation's privacy notice. External Google Maps, Airbnb and Wikimedia links open only when you click them.
Retention and international transfers
The map preference stays in your browser for up to 180 days; calendar dates stay for the browser session. The website does not store form data. Enquiries received by the property are kept as long as needed to handle the request and, where a stay is booked, for applicable legal periods. Hosting logs follow the provider's retention policy. External providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; consult their policies for the relevant safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction and, where applicable, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw map consent any time using “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Withdrawal stops future map loads but does not erase data already received by OpenStreetMap. Contact the controller using the number above. You may also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority.
